Races arrive on their own. This page explains what the race slot is, how splits are handled, and the two escape hatches (manual import and the review queue).
The race slot
Each season has one race slot, edited in Manage → Settings (the slot card sits at the top, one per active season):
- Series: the official iRacing series your league races.
- Race day (UTC) and start time (UTC): when your league's session goes green. Note this is UTC, not your local time zone; convert once and forget it.
- Tolerance: how far from the nominal start a session may be and still count as yours. This absorbs slightly late launches without accidentally matching a different timeslot.
League admins can change the series and slot mid-season if your league moves nights; already-scored races stay.
Automatic import
Races import themselves. For each active season, official sessions in your series that match your slot within the tolerance are found, imported and scored, with results on your site within the hour of the checkered flag. There is nothing to run and nothing to click.
Splits
If your timeslot splits into several sessions, they are all imported as one event. Per-split points tables (see Scoring) pay each split correctly, and the race page shows every split.
When two sessions match
If more than one session plausibly matches your slot, nothing is guessed: the conflict goes to the review queue and a staff member picks the right one. You will see it flagged on the Manage dashboard.
Importing a race by hand
Manage → Events lists every scored race and can import any session by its iRacing subsession ID (Add a race by subsession ID, then Import & score). This also works for hosted sessions, as long as the results are visible on iRacing. Use it for one-off events, rescheduled races that missed the slot, or backfilling a race from before the league joined irstats.
Roster-based seasons
Some leagues do not race one shared slot at all: members run a series on their own time and the league scores whatever official races they enter. Seasons can run in this roster mode instead of slot mode, where each rostered driver's official races are found automatically. If your league works this way, contact us and we will set the season up with you.
